func-menu.el is untouchable without the author's approval. There was
one round of patches from him buried in my inbox, and a second one
that came in yesterday to fix problems that have been reported here.
The just-released version should be O.K.
Can we expect it to be really fixed someday ?
It should be O.K. now.
