Renaming the package source xemacs-packages subdirectory is easy, and
only needs to be done once. (I do this regularly for the C sources;
I've got three separate trees checked out at the moment, and may have
to go to four.) It doesn't affect CVS. And we could even enforce it
for the future by changing the module name under CVS.
If you want to, I guess you could "mark" installed package Lisp
directories with a special file.
