(minor) bug when draging modeline

start vanilla xemacs split window horizontally (C-x 3) drag the modeline up and then a bit down (preferably move diagonally (say 7 o'clock) what I see at the 'T-junction' is: hitting C-l updates the display and yields: This is Solaris with CDE but the same happens on Linux with XFree86.
