I made these messages at least get through to the web interface.
Before that, these errors were well hidden.
They result from a regex longer than ca. 50 characters (it's
documented in the search help somewhere).
You'll have to search ca. 3-4 months at a time when using restricted
search.
At least you'll get the error now.
