The window-change-related flicker is still there. The worst offenders
are still:
* Frame change, using the WM.
* Window change, using C-TAB.
* Gnus. Many things in Gnus. For instance, displaying an article,
scrolling down by page (SPC in the summary buffer), scrolling down
by line (RET in the summary buffer), etc.
I think these are related to the output code.
