One can not run an XEmacs (gnuclient) X window frame over a 28.8
modem. Using the scrollbar is painful to say the least. This is not
the case with FSF Emacs, which starts/displays faster and has a usable
scrollbar.
Of course, under normal circumstances XEmacs redisplays well fast
enough. So, dispite having to run 'gnuclient -nw' to read my mail from
home (sniff), I actually agree with Andy. Not that my opinion is worth
anything anyway.
