I agree. You can start out by just converting strings around. If you
don't understand what that means, read the "Mule Coding" section of
the Internals manual.
just a beginer's curiosity, but is perl going to handle all coding system
that mule supports? all i know is that perl is handling unicode only,
and there is a version of perl called jperl which handle existing japanese
coding system and it's not going to merge in the future.
