Hi,
I'm trying to update issue #350 to note that it is very likely a
duplicate of issue #331 (which I submitted). However, clicking the
submit changes button gives the error:
| DetectorError: Error: couldn't send email: {'glynn': (501, ':
| recipient address must contain a domain')}
followed by a long HTML-ified python backtrace.
Could someone do something about this for me? It seems Vladimir
recently updated this bug successfully, though I'm not sure how.
Neither am I! although I do seem to remember this bug and working
around it.
Why on earth did you choose such a horrid bug tracking system?
I've worked with a number of bug tracking systems, and I haven't found
that Roundup is horrid (although the pesticide RoundUp is worse than
horrendous).
I wish that the XEmacs development team had chosen a more integrated
system, one that included bug tracking, feature tracking, test cases,
development work, etc. I was offered (as were all members of the
XEmacs Beta list) the opportunity to suggest solutions, but I never
(inexplicably) suggested the integrated solution, so I can't complain
about the choice, just the implementation details.
I had a list of issues with Roundup that I was keeping, but of course
I can't find them now. Arrrgh.
Happy and, above all, a Safe New Year!
