As always -- I just think it would be good to have a plan on how to
move on here. But I think you just said that fixing Xft will need
quite some work and getting GTK+ support will also need quite some
work.
Of course things takes time and effort. We have limited resources so
we need to work smart. How can we do that in this case? Is there no
code base we could steal[1] to fix this?
