So excuse me for repeating myself but releasing 21.5 and then go GPLv3 are still top on my list. (Discussing toolkits seems to be more fun though ... :-) So having said that I'd say wxWidgets sounds interesting and while we are busy with releasing and GPLV3-ing we will have plenty of time to think about these things more carefully!
