I just tried again, this time using gcc. It links without errors, but
temacs dies with the same memory error. I get no other messages. (I
have no idea what the check-errors should do.)
When I look at the core file with gdb, I don't see much.
#0 0x3ff800d218c in memcpy ()
is all that shows up. I'm at a loss. (But what's new about that.)
