xemacs-21.2.40 does not draw images

Hi, I,ve compiled/installed and xemacs-21.1.11 on solaris 2.8 with (almost) the same configure parameters: xemacs-21.1.11: configure --prefix=/home/deacon/csgrad/lmdimi/usr/local --cflags=-O --with-mule --with-tooltalk --error-checking=none --memory-usage-stats --with-dragndrop --with-cde --with-pop --with-sparcworks --with-xfs --with-dialogs=athena3d --use-union-type --site-includes=/home/deacon/csgrad/lmdimi/usr/local/include:/home/deacon/csgrad /lmdimi/usr/local/include/X11 --site-libraries=/home/deacon/csgrad/lmdimi/usr/local/lib:/home/deacon/csgrad/lm dimi/usr/local/lib/X11 xemacs-21.2.40: configure --prefix=/usr/scratch/XEmacs-21.2.40 --with-prefix=no --cflags=-O --with-mule --with-tooltalk --error-checking=none --memory-usage-stats --with-dragndrop --with-cde --with-pop --with-workshop --with-xfs --with-scrollbars=lucid --with-dialogs=lucid --with-menubars=lucid --with-widgets=lucid --use-union-type --site-includes=/home/deacon/csgrad/lmdimi/usr/local/include:/home/deacon/csgrad /lmdimi/usr/local/include/X11 --site-libraries=/home/deacon/csgrad/lmdimi/usr/local/lib:/home/deacon/csgrad/lm dimi/usr/local/lib/X11 I'm using them with the same packages,libs, etc. but 2.40 shows image file as text instead of drawing them. What could be the problem?
