Ah, thanks. Yes, that's the one.
A quick look suggests that all of the variables computed by the very
early command-line parsing stuff should be protected in the way that
`noninteractive' is, and immediately after loading the dumpfile they
should be restored.
The comment on the declaration of noninteractive1 is really opaque.
