[Bug: 21.4.13] Copy paste broken

================================================================ Dear Bug Team! Since I upgraded to SuSE 9.0, copy-pasting to emacs is broken. Whenever I attempt to copy-paste text containing accented characters into emacs (from a konsole for instance, but also from xterm), garbage characters are inserted. For example, when attempting to copy-paste the word Élysée, I get the following: %/1€Œiso8859-15Élys%/1€Œiso8859-15ée Is there a way to turn this off? On my Redhat box at work, it is also acting funny, mostly when opening files containing accented characters.
