However, at the moment nobody is actively working on the parsing issues, so it is unlikely that 21.4.4 will contain a fix. I plan to apply pressure to "those who know" in the near future, and I several core developers consider C/C++ syntax editing a critical feature of XEmacs so "something" will be done "soon". But that's all I can say at the present time as I have neither time nor expertise in this area to be able to make promises myself.
