how to enhance y-or-n to various choices

Hello I am looking for simple function which, when called interactively would offer me various possibilities, corresponding to different letters. An example would be feedmail which offers - to send the mail, letter i - to queue it letter q - to draft it letter q - to return to edit letter e - to ask for help via ? Now I looked at this function looks quite complicated. Is there anything simple?
