If you're willing to maintain the new package:
Tell me the name of the package and I'll add the directory to
CVS (put a .cvsignore in so cvs up gets it for you), give you
access to that directory and you can add it yourself.
If you don't want to maintain the new package:
Send me a tarball of the new package and I'll fix it up for
you.
