Can you put the output of configure, or a config.log from the 21.5
build
somewhere? Your text at https://bugs.gentoo.org/639642 doesn’t include a
Mercurial changeset ID, which suggests it may not be tip.
The Gentoo ebuild is based on the latest released version of XEmacs 21.5. ie
21.5.34, plus some small patches applied. So it is not the tip.
I see in hg log that there has been some things added that relates to dumping
and pie so maybe these changes are important to have to be able to build it
now.
I have no problem building the tip version of 21.5 and the buildbot builds it
fine to. Maybe no surprise since it is on the same machines as I build
manually.
I’ll try to get the 21.4 code building on Linux in the next few days.
Great. When I build 21.4 manually I get another problem as for the ebuild.
