[Hey, Adrian! Anonymous access to xemacsweb is totally broken,
xemacsweb doesn't even show when I list the modules.]

Nothing. My instructions weren't clear. (1) The older package
modules (xemacs-packages and mule-packages) were deactivated by Steve
Youngs a few weeks ago IIRC. Use module "packages". (2) Module
"xemacsweb" is hosted on sunsite.dk, not in the main repository.
Handy-dandy reference card, cut and paste it into an xpostit:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
XEmacs sources are hosted at tanko.sk.tsukuba.ac.jp (temporarily).
anoncvs: not possible due to U. of Tsukuba firewall
ext/ssh: use CVSROOT=":ext:tanko.sk.tsukuba.ac.jp:/usr/CVSroot"
core source module is "xemacs"
package source module is "packages"
release tools module is "xemacs-builds"
status: currently working (2001/10/30 15:45 JST)
xemacsweb is hosted at sunsite.dk.
anoncvs: use CVSROOT=":pserver:cvs@sunsite.dk:/pack/anoncvs"
password is "cvs"
web module is "xemacsweb"
status: currently broken (2001/10/30 15:45 JST)
ext/ssh: currently Adrian and me only I think, talk to Adrian
status: working for Adrian at least (2001/10/30 15:45 JST)
FTP and HTTP services at Tux, SunSITE.dk, and SourceForge are
unchanged.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
We hope XEmacs sources will be hosted and available for anoncvs
checkout within a few days. Conservatively, early next week I think
we can promise, although there may be occasional service outages as we
tune the configuraiton. The primary mirror will be sunsite.dk, which
has proved to have excellent bandwidth worldwide although it is
subject to "Red Hat effect" as Tux is. We plan to move to sunsite for
the active repository itself, but we need to work out access issues.
I am exploring secondary mirrors for the repository; I have a couple
of private offers but they want to wait until we've settled down on a
permanent setup. I'm also trying to get a big well-known host as a
secondary repository.
Sorry for the confusion, but we _are_ confused. We've had multiple
simultaneous critical service failures in the past couple of weeks.
We are getting it straightened out, but ... you know how it goes.
