Yeah, unfortunately their implementation is an ugly hack (on top of
isearch which is a wonderful idea but an ugly hack as an
implementation), and was never ported.
I just found out that mule-base ships isearch-mule, which seems quite
outdated and contains the following line
(provide 'isearch-ext)
May be this pkg should be removed?
