Regarding packages ..

Hi ! Yesterday I tried `package-get-update-all', which went fine up to the moment, where the xemacs.org-FTP-Server asked me for a password ? How do I get that ? And as a second point, two weeks ago, I posted a starter document on packages. What happened to it, did nobody receive it ?
