I have now tried with "make clean" first. Same result.
It appears that 'make clean' does not remove symlinks from ./lib-src/.
So whatever made them behave badly initially (broken symlinks?) will
persist.
Check the contents of lib-src and you should see symlinks to
non-existant files. Delete those, and build again. This should get
you through "make".
