Some people's init files might need updating. It looks like all the
fold-\(.*\) symbols are now named folding-\1.
should there be a bunch of defalias calls, with the
`byte-obsoleted-variable' property adding ?
The main known problem (in both versions) is that isearch won't
enter
folds in XEmacs 21.2+. I just spent a bunch of time to figure out
what's going on, and will supply proposed patch upstream. I'll CC
xemacs-beta.
