No, the default value of t is exactly right. If everything is coded
correctly (like c-mode is), everything will work, even with multiple
consoles.
Is this really the right approach, or is it a workaround for
delete-key-deletes-forward not being console-local (or whatever the
correct term is)?
After all, it isn't called delete-key-deletes-forward-maybe.
