but if you value stability you will accept the default and not link to
ESD. It's evil, see PROBLEMS.
I've been meaning to ask about this. Why is it that 21.4 defaults to
NOT using ESD, but 21.5 defaults to using ESD? If ESD is really that
evil, shouldn't 21.5 also not use it by default?
