C-h i d m xemacs RET m bugs RET

I did this but I have had no response. In other letters in this group, there
are often staements like "(Well, actually, Gnus is implicated in all
currently known crashes except for a few caused by Motif)", My bug has
nothing to do with Gnus or Motif or Lisp. I just edit a file (say Makefile),
scroll in the file for a few seconds and CRASH. My Linux system is pretty
much "out of the box" and I update my cvs sources to Xemacs fairly frequently
to see if anything has changed (not much for weeks).
As I said before "Is there anything I should do to help track this bug?" I did
not mean just a full report of my installation which you told me how to
provide but how I can actively help, i.e. start up options, etc.
I'm not exactly a newbie, I have been using emacs(Xeamcs) since 1981.
