For those of you possibly not familiar with American
culture, it's been popular for a long time for parents to
use guilt to get their children to eat portions of a meal
they find unappetizing. "Eat your vegetables, Johnny.
Think of the starving children in Africa!".
It's also popular for comics to make jokes about it.
