Progress report on latest CVS:
I still have trouble running pdump xemacs in X mode:
I'm going to take another look. I have found and fixed some geometry
problems which may help. Although I have to say that pdump worked last time
I tried under X. Maybe I'll try on Linux (does it fail?) .....
... ok I've looked and I don't think it is a gutter problem. If you put a
break point in Fmake_frame the second time it hits (after loading all the
lisp) it is trying to create a frame on the stream device rather than the
windows device. If you print out Vconsole_list you will see that only the
stream device is there - even though console_type_create_* has already been
called. The error you get is in frame-initialize (I think) when it then
tries to delete the stream device and there isn't any other device available.
So I think its a pdump problem. Over to OG ....
