When a file gets changed outside of XEmacs and XEmacs detects it, it asks me if I want to re-read it in from disk. If I answer yes, it -acts- like it read it from disk when in fact it does not. If I explicitly do a M-x revert-buffer on it, then everything is fine (the buffer is in sync with what's on the disk). The bug can be recreated at will by following the above steps.
