To all NT users.
For a while now, Mike Sperber (dired & efs maintainer, lisp coder
extraordinaire) has had enhancements to dired that make it run more
smoothly under NT. These enhancements need testing, more testing,
closely followed by even more testing.
Because dired is so closely interwoven with EFS, Michael needs to hear
of your success/failure to talk to NTP ftp servers.
If you're willing/able to help out with this, I implore you to contact
Michael at <sperber(a)informatik.uni-tuebingen.de> and ask him to send
you a snapshot with the relevant NT patches applied. And then test,
test, test.
The most important part, *FEEDBACK*. Michael needs it all, the good,
the bad, and the ugly. Perhaps even include the output from M-x
dired-report-bug and M-x efs-report-bug. In short, give him as much
detail as is humanly possible.
Thanks very much for your help, people.
