Ar an triochadú lá de mí na Samhain, scríobh Zhang Wei:
XXXX is the chinese character that I input. Every chinese character
makes a such error message. If I input five chinese character at a
time, I'll get five error message, one for each chinese character.
In that case, start XEmacs from a terminal, type M-: (setq debug-x-events t)
RET, type one of these characters, and send us the information printed to
standard output.
It will take some effort to get scim work, but fcitx is quite easy.
If
you get fcitx installed, just create a new account, and put the
following lines in ~/.xsession:
brep@0[~]$ cat .xsession
export LANG=zh_CN.GBK
export XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitx
export GTK_IM_MODULE="fcitx"
fcitx &
exec gnome-session
Thanks, fcix _was_ easy to install. I am still having trouble getting it to
send input to XEmacs, though; tomorrow I’ll try messing with its X11
configuration further. I should be able to type Ctrl+space ding1 and get
丁, if I understand the docs correctly?
