Does it always happen for you? In a XEmacs started with
"-vanilla?"
Funny thing, now I can't reproduce the bug - and it was
happening very reliably (I've simplified the original code where
I've seen it, checking after every stage, and not once did
the bug go away)... I'm afraid I may have changed a few settings
(although I'm positive I didn't upgrade XEmacs :-) ) since
then... Next time...
