Saanen-pre4 and news

Damn. Just a quick message as I go out the door: I just built Saanen-pre4 from CVS and Gnus won't open my news server. Is there anything that changed that could possibly cause this, or is it coincidental with something else I could have done? I can telnet to the server from this machine ... -- Michael D.
