If any autoload cookies have disappeared, it was done by the BBDB
people. I didn't take any out when I made up the XEmacs package.
Did you just copy their version? Maybe our old version was different
from theirs?
Does the autoload that you mention (on bbdb-initialize), need to be
there? I'm using the current XEmacs package BBDB without any
problems.
I am not sure whether it is necessary. What is the approved way of
activating bbdb this week? I have only the following in .emacs:
(bbdb-initialize 'gnus 'message)
and that obviously stopped working when I upgraded.
I can email the bbdb people if you like.
