Error when entering canna-mode

(Sorry if this appears twice, but my first mail seems to never have made it through to the list). (list ...)) 0xadd>("japanese-canna") call-interactively(set-input-method) (dispatch-event "[internal]") This is the latest development sources, compiled on RedHat RHEL-5.5 with "./configure --with-mule". Same thing happens on FreeBSD-8.1. The latest xemacs-21.5.29 (from 2009-05-18) works fine. Am I missing something obvious here, or is this a bug?
