Re: assert in src\event-msw.c (line 1515) in 21.5-b1

This happens to me every now and then, especially when debugging XEmacs. I submitted a fix a few months ago [1] that simply retried the wait ignoring the bad handle but it was vetoed because it masked a problem instead of fixing it.
