i've played very litely with this stuff.... and i haven't come up with a
problem. Admittedly, the calendar code i'm using is different than
yours.
but, does doing
(setq european-calendar-style t)
make things behave the way you would expect?
whenever i try to go to european-diary-mode, i d inserts a day for me.
(if i'm following what whet you are griping about.)
alternatively, if you could send me specific diary entries that are
getting screwed up, i might be able to duplicate the problem.
