I see we have to support it, although it is evil, but can we change the name to UTF-8-SIG[NATURE]? In fact, if we get that far, XEmacs 21.4.21 (or perhaps 21.4.22) will be named "UTF-8 BOM". ;-) If it's appropriate, I'll do the patch. But does That Other Emacs have this?
