Ooh, YUCK! I see we have to support it, although it is evil, but can
we change the name to UTF-8-SIG[NATURE]? In fact, if we get that far,
XEmacs 21.4.21 (or perhaps 21.4.22) will be named "UTF-8 BOM". ;-)
If it's appropriate, I'll do the patch. But does That Other Emacs
have this? If not, we should try to keep oxymorons in the codename,
and not in the code.

My nostalgia for Icon makes me forget about any of the bad things. I don't
