Okay, I'll review my notes and see if I have anything to contribute.
I'll try to get to this in the next week or two.
I just submitted a patch for the internals document. Most of the stuff
that I learned about redisplay follows from the text in the patch and
the text that's already in the section Redisplay Piece by Piece.
