Am I doing something wrong?
I don't know. It's still weird that the binary has error checking on
and the modules don't. What's weirder is that I am also working on an
i686-pc-linux machine, and I'm not seeing this. Can you give me the
exact set of configure flags you used, and maybe say something about
your Linux setup, too?
