Well, since it only returns one of several files, it's kinda
nondeterministic isn't it? And what is it supposed to do if there is
no file with a matching name?
My bad. What I am thinking of is that FSF Emacs shows all completions of the
expansion. Which I guess is something different (although a nice feature).
