Patches welcome. The tmpreaper should be designed as a function
suitable for adding to kill-emacs-hook. It's unlikely that I will get
to writing something like this any time soon.
If *your* XEmacs doesn't exit
My objections to this scheme have nothing to do with whether XEmacs
exits or not. They have to do with whether *viewer* applications exit
or not, and whether viewer applications might wish to have access to
the file *after* the random time when XEmacs decides to remove it.
XEmacs not exiting was mentioned only as an example of a typical
application that never exits for many users.
