I've wanted to fix this myself for a long time, and I've now gone
ahead and done that. Please send me comments on the new
http://cvs.emacs.org.
Jareth: regarding putting `update -Pd' in ~/.cvsrc, I have done this
for a year now without any problems. I thought `-A' is the argument
that removes sticky tags.
Some parts of the new page may be controversial.
