That's a different issue. We have to agree on some version of English
as standard in XEmacs sources. In my opinion the default version of
English is up to the maintainer. I'm forwarding my (probably
misposted) comments on the original patch.
If one were to insist on British Spelling we would have the same kind
of source code fuckage we have the abominable GNU C indentation.
Ispell would have *have* to default to British spelling when examining
XEmacs sources.
Hmm. I suppose one could argue the converse and suggest that American
English should be enforced in ispell under the same circumstances.
I don't know. Good question. Maybe since the US has been sold to
China, the official language of XEmacs should be Chinese?
