Well, introducing new packages can really trigger a lot of things that
we don't have support for. So that is good to do!

Well, I'm just suggesting upgrading as a tool to drive the
development. Each problem should be solved appropriately. Some times a
rewrite is the right thing and sometimes adding functionality to the
core is needed.

fall-behind last years.
Why GNU Emacs got that many contributions and XEmacs didn't - at least in relation?
AFAIU its a technical question basically.
It's not about contributions, but about getting rid...
