[Bug: 21.5-b20] no help on x-compose's keymaps

I would be energetically interested in this issue, but I can't
reproduce it.
what happens when you press the three keys "multi-key" "a"
"C-h" ?
What keyboard layout are you using?

i have also the following line in my .xmodmap
keycode 0x71 = Multi_key
And if you can relate physical keys to some English-language
layout, that would be even more helpful.
i have an english language layout
xemacs-21.5 is mule-enabled, xemacs-21.4 is not, and the help on
keymap completion does not work in 21.5, while it works in 21.4
