These numbers don't add up do they? I blame gcc :)
Survey says ... you're right. It was gas/gld and an extraneous
environment variable (COMPILER_PATH).
I've only been running the new version a few minutes, but the gutter
is _greatly_ improved over a few days ago. I still don't understand
why some displayed buffers get a button and others don't though.
