I tried the version of rx.el that is shipped with GNU Emacs 23.2.1
with the latest tip version of 21.5. I could load it without any
complains. I then wrote som unit tests based the documentation in the
file and most of them was broken. But some of them didn't work with
GNU Emacs either!?
I didn't look into the relevance of the unit tests but why not test
that version of rx with your modified python-mode.el.
Hi Mats,
as told on other post, I'm not in favour of rx.el and rather didn't pull
it out then propagating it. Which doesn't mean, it isn't clever. It is,
but other considerations coming across.
Think it is at the XEmacs side to figure it out should something not
work. Fixes should be not that far away.
Cheers
Andreas
It might suffice
or you will get some good feedback for what is broken with XEmacs.
Yours
