speaking of footnotes -- Didier posted a file called
'footnote-balloons' a couple of days ago. This pops up a balloon-help
when the mouse is over a footnote. This is really cool. Can/should this be
included in your footnote-package?
If it has been FSF copyright assigned, it can go in.
I intend to redo it at some point to make it a read/write minor mode
instead of write-only.
