Firefox has been really unstable for me recently, especially if some
K-rappy app is dropping dbus(?) events and spewing warnings.[1]
(Unstable enough that occasionally it takes X down with it; I've
switched to Chrome on Gentoo for the moment.) I wouldn't be surprised
if the issue in both your case and mine is upgrades to X.org itself.
I checked the email I sent to xemacs beta. 6th of September
customize worked.
So I run
zcat -f /var/log/dpkg.log* | grep "\ install\ " | sort
And de installed all dpkg, I had installed after 6th of
September. It did not help and I run out of ideas.
